Chiropractor Near Veterans Park | Glendale Chiropractic

Veterans Park sits about 3.1 miles from our office, roughly an 11 minute drive down S University Blvd and E Exposition Ave. It’s on the other side of town from us, past Washington Park, but plenty of families and weekend athletes from that neighborhood make the trip anyway. If early morning practice or a weekend tournament at Veterans Park has left you sore, we’re not as far as you’d think.

Where the Neighborhood Plays

Veterans Park isn’t fancy, but it works. Soccer fields, baseball diamonds, room for a tournament, plenty of parking. Youth teams practice here at odd hours, before school, right after, weekend mornings when the fields are booked solid. Dog owners show up too, even if the signs about that are a little unclear.

A park that busy means a lot of running, sliding, throwing, and the occasional collision. Coaches end up with bad backs from crouching on the sideline for an hour. Parents pull something hauling folding chairs and coolers out of the trunk. Kids get banged up more than they let on. We see all of it, and most of it responds well to the kind of care that catches a problem before it becomes a habit.

Serving Families Near Veterans Park

This part of Denver, tucked between University Blvd and the Washington Park area, is full of families whose weekends revolve around whatever field their kid’s team is using that day. It’s a longer drive to reach us than some of our other neighborhoods, closer to 11 minutes than 5, but S University Blvd runs pretty much straight there without much fuss.

Whether it’s a coach’s aching lower back, a kid who took a hard fall during a game, or just the general wear and tear of a very active family, Dr. Brockway sees patients from this side of town regularly. It’s a drive worth making.

When to Seek Immediate Medical Care Chiropractic care isn’t the right fit for every source of back, neck, or joint pain. Get emergency care right away for loss of bladder or bowel control, progressive weakness or numbness in the legs, unexplained fever with spine pain, pain after a significant fall or accident, or severe pain that doesn’t ease with rest. Dr. Brockway will point you toward the right specialist or emergency provider whenever something falls outside the scope of chiropractic care.
