Garland Park is just under 2 miles from our office, about a 6 minute drive via S Holly St and Leetsdale Dr. That makes it one of the closer neighborhoods we serve. If you’re a regular on the trails around Lollipop Lake, or you live in Virginia Village and just need a chiropractor who’s actually nearby, we’re a short drive away.
Garland Park is one of the bigger parks along Cherry Creek, wrapped around Lollipop Lake, and the trails there connect right into the Cherry Creek Trail if you’re up for going farther. People show up for the birds, for the turtles piled up on the rocks in the sun, or just to walk somewhere that doesn’t feel like a city at all. There’s a playground too, tennis courts, a baseball field, a volleyball court. Not everyone’s here for a quiet stroll.
Walking, playing, pickup games, it all takes a toll eventually. Uneven trail can aggravate a hip that was already bothering you. One good volleyball game and suddenly your shoulder’s sore the next morning. Nothing dramatic, most of the time, just the kind of everyday wear that’s easy to brush off until it isn’t anymore.
Virginia Village is a quieter residential neighborhood, and Garland Park is clearly the heart of it. Getting from there to our office is about as easy as it gets, S Holly St to Leetsdale Dr, and you’re here in six minutes without much traffic to deal with.
A stiff back from yard work, a sore hip from the trail, that ache that’s overstayed its welcome, Dr. Brockway sees plenty of it from patients in this part of town. Six minutes isn’t much of an excuse to keep putting it off.
| When to Seek Immediate Medical Care Not every source of back, neck, or joint pain belongs in a chiropractor’s office. Get emergency help right away if you notice loss of bladder or bowel control, weakness or numbness that’s getting worse in your legs, a fever alongside spine pain, pain that started after a serious fall or accident, or pain so severe that rest doesn’t touch it. Dr. Brockway will point you to the right specialist or emergency provider any time your symptoms go beyond what chiropractic care can address. |
Starting at Garland Park, 6300 E Mississippi Ave, you’ll continue to S Kearney St for about 187 feet, then drive from S Holly St and Leetsdale Dr toward Glendale for roughly 1.8 miles. A right turn puts our office right there on the right, 425 S Cherry St, Suite 307. All in, that’s 1.9 miles and about 6 minutes under normal traffic.
